This is a safe, trauma aware, place to relax and release. Each session is yours. This space is for you to bring attention to your tension and release it at your own pace. Every person has their own healing process, whether you are just sore from work or want to dive a little deeper this is a welcoming place.

 

Holistic Bodywork:

​

Using techniques that I have accumulated (including Raynor massage) and continue to explore I want to help you work through whatever you might be holding onto. Our bodies and minds are both powerful things, it's extremely healing and beneficial when you can get them communicating on the same wavelength. And it's very rare that we need the same thing twice. Bodywork needs to adapt as your journey does and I'm here to do that.

Raynor Massage: This style of massage is known better as bodywork for the conscious participation needed from the client. Through breath-work and deep pressure, practitioner and client will work together to release deep routed tension. It covers not just the muscles of the body but also the skeletal system, emotions and the subtle energy systems of the body.

It has evolved from a combination of Therapeutic massage, Deep tissue, Acupressure, Ayurvedic, Swedish, Hawaiian, Remedial, Hand and Foot Reflexology, as well as many other styles from around the world. The goal of Raynor massage is to find any residual tension or blockage in the body and get rid of it.

I offer two other massage services depending on your needs but will only be offering them on certain days of the month since my bodywork is my main style. If you haven't tried bodywork I would highly suggest it.

Relaxation:

Relaxation massage is a body treatment involving soft music, soft lighting and light pressure. They include massage techniques including long strokes, gentle kneading and rolling of skin and muscle, and perhaps some rhythmic rocking from side to side. This type of massage can help with circulation, blood pressure, gastrointestinal motility, reduces surface muscle tension and can boost the immune system after undergoing regular treatments.

Relaxation massage is a passive treatment aiming to help you relax, revive and rejuvenate at a depth that does not cause discomfort.

While relaxation massage is wonderful for you, it is less effective than deeper styles when you are suffering from pain.

 

Tender Recovery:

Tender Recovery is a massage targeted at releasing physical tension built up by fitness regiments or other daily activities. Comparable to LIGHT foam rolling, we will target your sore spots and regular tight areas. Going in a little deeper to release tension that effects larger areas can help with your physical performance and of course comfort. In a comfortable setting, relaxation techniques will be used along with tender tension release pressure. This treatment is great for people who struggle with maintaining their own muscle mobility and tension and would like a little extra help. Plus, foam rolling is tricky business.
